My husband and I lived in different places, and it still gave me goose bumps when we live in a place where you can see the mountains and hills. I think often in the first two verses of Psalm 121, saying, "I want my eyes to the hills to climb - where are my help? My help comes from the Lord of the heavens and the earth."
When I see all the hills around me, I recall the size of God's creation. Thinking it comes to speak, there are far higher than anything I could imagine or understand, but it is a reminder of the size of God. The psalmist could have imagined, seems to be the same as I think when I look at the beauty of creation around me - "My help comes from the Lord himself, was able to create all this." That gives me peace. That gives me comfort. That gives me the hope and joy.
The next time you feel really down and out, look around. Take a moment to stop and highlights the eyes and the beauty of the south of Pennsylvania. I thank the Lord for him and for the eyes, so you see it. Free your self, because your help from the Almighty Creator has created all the beautiful scenery around you - be it the mountains, hills, lakes, the sky, the beautiful tulips in your back yard next - has all! Freu Register so far and I am grateful for that!
